The Rocket City Bar Association offers three levels of membership. All memberships must be renewed annually.

Lawyer: a lawyer who has been admitted before the Bar of any state for 3 years or more and who is in good standing with the Alabama State Bar who supports the principles an objectives of the RCBA.

New Lawyer: a lawyer who has been admitted before the Bar of any state for 2 years or less and who is in good standing with the Alabama State Bar who supports the principles and objectives of the RCBA.

Law Student: a student matriculating at any law school in the State of Alabama or who is matriculating at any law school and resides in the State of Alabama who supports the principles and objectives of the RCBA.

Student Associate Member: a student matriculating at any post-secondary school in the State of Alabama or who is matriculating at any post-secondary school and resides in the State of Alabama who supports the principles and objectives of the RCBA.

Affiliate Members: those associations of lawyers which are recognized as such by the RCBA who support and advances the goals of the RCBA. All persons interested in affiliate membership should contact the director of the Rocket City Bar Association.

New Lawyer (Member of the Bar Less Than 2 Yrs) - $50.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments -Member of the Bar 2 years or less
-Must be licensed in the State of Alabama

Student - Law School Student - $25.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st Automatic renewal (recurring payments) -Current Law Student

Student Associate Membership - $15.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments -Current student attending post-secondary educational institution

ABOUT ASSOCIATION

The Rocket City Bar Association (RCBA) is a nonprofit organization that seeks to eliminate prejudice and discrimination, defend human and civil rights secured by law, advance the roles of African American attorneys in the legal profession throughout North Alabama, and provide educational resources and opportunities to the public and its members.
